"On To Uganda"

This latest project will deliver a complete X-ray lab to Uganda. Built in a large shipping container, the $100,000 worth of equipment and supplies is now on its way. Included with the complete X-ray lab is a dental suite

Shipping will take two months and the progress can be tracked via the VTrac Systems website

To log on, visit www.vtracsystems.com and click on "log on." The account ID is "Rotary" and the password is "uganda." Leave the "Username" field blank, and be sure not to capitalize "uganda."

Local Rotarians Support The Kellermanns

After local Rotarians donated over $46,000 , The Rotary Foundation funds increased the budget to $85,000.

Over $30,000 has been spent in Uganda to purchase` an ambulance, a solar system for the hospital, beds, medicine and many day to day necessities.

The balance of the funds were used to buy the new x-ray, and dental equipment, two large generators both, as well as shipping costs to deliver the a fully loaded container from Nevada City around the world to the Bwindi Medical `Centre in Buhoma, Uganda.

Thank You

Donald “Fultzee” Fultz, President-Elect, Nevada City Rotary Club wishes to thank Nevada County and fellow Rotarians.

Well over 100 Rotarians from our five local Rotary clubs were joined by a scored of non-Rotarians to raise funds, build a modern x-ray suite inside a shipping container, and collect the over 12,000 pounds of medical/dental gear that is being shipped to Uganda.

This outstanding effort proves once again that “He who `serves best, profits most”. Every person who played a part in this effort has come away richer from the experience.
