Kellermann Foundation Statement of Faith

We believe in one God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ; we believe in Jesus Christ as God’s Word made flesh, full of grace and truth, both fully human and divine, who was born of the Virgin Mary, suffered death under Pontius Pilate, and who was raised bodily on the third day; and we believe in the Holy Spirit, who is one with the Father and the Son, who draws us to faith in Jesus Christ through whom alone we are justified and made righteous, and who calls us to engagement with God’s creation to his glory.

We believe that “All scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness” (2 Tim 3.16), and that “God’s Word written” is the standard for faith and practice in all areas of life and all aspects of our ministries.

We believe that the Great Commission of our Lord Jesus encompasses both proclamation of the Gospel and deeds of loving service. We therefore engage to tell the story of God’s redemption through Jesus Christ, to support worship and nurture through Jesus Christ, to bring the skills and benefits of the best medical practices to the sick, and to encourage the stewardship of human bodies and human communities so that all persons who are made in God’s image may flourish.

We believe in the God-given dignity of every person. We do not require faith commitments of those we serve, while at the same time offering opportunities to all to make an informed commitment to Christ.
