A recent gathering of the leaders of our various programs in Bwindi, including Bishop of Kinkiizi Dan Zoreka, welcomed staff from African Leadership and Reconciliation Ministries (ALARM), to do an assessment of management systems already in place. The Kellermann Foundation is pleased to partner with ALARM (also headquartered in the north Texas area). Founded in 1994 after the Rwandan Genocide, ALARM works to rewrite the story of African families, communities and nations affected by conflict and injustice into stories of hope and reconciliation. ALARM’s Ugandan servant leadership team will present a leadership conference in Bwindi later this year.
